Encouraging Knowledge, Enterprise, and Leadership
The Wake Forest Chamber Foundation for Common Progress was established in 2015 as a 501c3 charitable organization. Specifically dedicated to educational pursuits, the Foundation offers a mix of programs with one common aim: to cultivate and expand the talents and skills of today’s youth and businesspersons within the local Wake Forest community.
Since its inception, the Foundation has gradually augmented and shaped its program agenda to the point where it is currently focusing on four core areas: leadership, workforce development, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
The Foundation’s ultimate objective is to be Wake Forest’s preeminent educational resource and spearhead programs that contribute to a local workforce of empowered, altruistic business leaders, employees and entrepreneurs who are poised to guide their community through today’s hurdles and conquer tomorrow’s challenges.
A totally separate entity from its counterpart, the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce, the Foundation relies exclusively on external corporate sponsorships, one-time, recurring or sustaining donations, and grants, from relevant and appropriate sources, to meet its various program funding goals.
